Riley Arts Foundation is a provider of supplemental education and job skills training. Recently, our curriculum was upgraded to include "Fundamentals of Working in a Law Office." This training covers 8 weeks of classroom and online instruction and is designed for anyone with little or no knowledge of the courts system.
You will learn what it takes to support operations in a law office ranging from document clerk to the paralegal* desk.
If you have an interest in the law, criminal justice, have ever thought about entering the legal field, or want to improve your administrative skills, this background in law office fundamentals will provide the foundation to expand your knowledge and apply it effectively to any office environment.
There is a $20 registration fee (waived for local residents). Class meets one day per week (8 weeks beginning the second week in September) for discussion and grading of assignments. Lessons are completed online.
